More recent sales being captured for RPNZ

Tuesday 23 September, 2008

We are dedicating further resource to collecting recent sales data through Agents Advice. Agents Advice increases the speed of getting sales information into RPNZ. Agents Advice is a system we use to collect the sale information (price and date) whether it’s unconditional or settled of a property directly from real estate salespeople.

Recent sales information can take about two months to be made available on RPNZ. Agents Advice overcomes any delay in the reporting of sales price and date and allows you to access sales in your local area in real time.

The more real estate agencies that commit to providing their recent sales the more useful the data will be for salespeople and clients. Only agencies who provide their sales via Agents Advice will have access to sales information provided by other agencies.

We are ringing or texting salespeople who have properties for auction, tender, or set sale etc after the closing date to see if the property sold and for how much. This information is entered into the ownership record in RPNZ. Sale information provided via Agents Advice is clearly labelled as being supplied via Agents Advice and the office who supplied the information.

Salespeople don't have to wait for a phone call or txt from PropertyIQ they can submit their own updates via rpnz.co.nz or directly to PropertyIQ. This can also be undertaken by the office administration.

To view recent sales supplied by other real estate offices in your area your office needs to commit to supplying their recent sales information. If you're interested in having access to Agents Advice and supplying your recent sales please contact Sharon Jump sharon.jump@propertyiq.co.nz or 09 307 6244.
