RP Data is pleased to announce the acquisition of the long established Adelaide based software service - UPMarket.

Graham Mirabito - RP Data's CEO stated "UPMarket provides a desktop based subscription service that delivers detailed property transactions to the real estate, banking, government and related sectors". "The acquisition was seen as a good fit as with RP Data; UPMarket enjoys a high level of customer loyalty" The acquisition provides RP Data with an additional 182 subscribers in the South Australian market place, taking its total market share to over 70%.

Mr Mirabito also stated "We see a number of benefits to be provided to UPMarket subscribers one being their ability to become a valued member of RP Data's expanding customer base. UPmarket subscribers will now also have the ability to access additional data services throughout Australia and New Zealand and in particular access additional products such as RP Mobile and On The Market." In turn RP Data will be looking to implement the key UPMarket functionality into it's on line services.
